For the promotion of institutinal and programmatic activties of NGOs & CBOs, the FRC has developed a comprehensive database directory of NGOs, CBOs and other grassroot organizationss of NWFP.

While a number of efforts have been made in the past to develop similar directories, such directories have either become outdated, or most of them do not include information on the many new NGOs, CBOs  & other similar organizations that have come up in the last few years in the province.

At the same time, there seems to be a growing need to gather different information about many organizations that are operating in NWFP. NGOs, development projects, funding support organizations, government agencies an other organizations have resorted to collecting piece-meal informaion on required basis to meet their project needs. Therefore a Database Directory was compiled which includes the data of more than 1740 organizations.
